I’m excited to get moved in so I could share my life and stories with you.
My amazing husband has been so supportive and honestly has given me more than just emotional strength for this journey. He has actively encouraged me to move forward. There is no one I’d rather do life with. (I’ll gush more about him later.)
It was Russ who convinced me to use my own name. Those who have been following me for a while know that I’ve been writing under a pen name for years. Although my desire is still to reflect “Hope”, it is time to celebrate who God has created me to be.
Growing up with an unusual name has been a part of His plan to shape me. It speaks to the unique design He has put on every one of us. He has woven a plan for your life and mine. When our experiences intersect we enjoy connection and relationship.
Pray for me that this will be a place to find strength in the living of life. Join me in laughing, crying, cooking and living this very short time we have here on earth.
Now for a short tour.
You’ll notice the categories above. I’ve just begun to fill those spaces but they are the things I wanted to share most with you. They are part of my passion.
Explore and keep coming back. I will still do a little remodeling from time to time but I’m glad this phase is done for now, I can get back to writing.
Thank you for your love and support. Please leave a comment and if something blesses you, please share (I like parties).
Love and Peace,
Jemelene
Congratulations on our new site! It looks great, and I can’t wait to see where you go with it!
Thank you! I’m excited and have to keep reigning myself in! I appreciate your input too!
Day 1, so far so good!
Purty new digs, here! Officially following the RSS feed. So, write away. 🙂
Well, I don’t know what your old site looked like but I like this one. Your page titles gave me a giggle my favorite is Chef Jem. I’m looking forward to reading!
Thank you for stopping by! I hope we’ll have many more giggles in the future!
Well – I am so delighted to see you doing this. Can’t wait to read more -and to see you later this month! Wishing you all the best on this great journey!
My beautiful friend, I cannot wait to see you. I’m not sure if you realize this but so very long ago, in our dorm room, you ran across something I had written. You left me a note, ( I still have it) apologizing for “snooping” and encouraging me to keep writing.
It is beautiful sisters like you that speak life into the creativity of sisters like me.
I love you so very much and know that with this page it will be much easier to “snoop”. 🙂
Wow! And something I don’t even remember (too much hair dye!). I love you, sweet friend!!!!
